The Commercial Project Manager will manage execution of projects/contracts in all commercial aspects, including responsibility for budgeting and forecasting, organization and handling of financial instruments, customer billing, contract and claim management in cooperation with Project Manager and project reporting to internal stakeholders. The Commercial Project manager will actively engage in the project management team for the benefit of project profitability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality: Ensure the quality of project reporting and adherence to applicable rules and regulations with regard to commercial project execution.
Promote commercial interest of the company during project execution and lead project in cooperation with Project Manager
Support PM on development of project execution plan with a focus on topics on commercial relevance, such as invoicing, cash receipt and contract/claim management
Develop and maintain budgets in project work breakdown (WBS) structure based on scope of work and project requirements
Ensure correctness of overall cost forecast (true and fair view) by maintaining and updating budgets in accordance to project requirements together with PM and project team
Coordinate with Finance Department in managing financial instruments such as guarantees and payment securities
Ability to analyze, understanding and interpret complex EPC contracts
Drive risk analysis and mitigation together with PM and project team, and ensure correct inclusion of risk positions in financials
Work with functional groups (engineering, procurement and site teams) to identify claims and change orders; Evaluate cost/schedule impact of claims and change orders and prepare justification and supporting documentation; Announce and negotiate claims and change orders together with PM towards the customer
Develop and manage customer relationships, with a focus on commercial and contractual topics
Prepare comprehensive reporting on project status and health as per company's requirements

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor/Master Degree (Commercial and finance related study)
At least 3 years of related working experience
Developed communication skills with the ability to deal effectively at all levels of contact - both internally and externally
Understanding of risk management
Ability to simplify potentially complex, detailed information
Excellent negotiation skills
Meet deadlines, Prioritize effectively
Knowledge of EPC contracts
Good in English skills in written and oral communication
High level skills with MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc.)
