Job description
Ahoy future pirates! Planning pirates are recruiting a new one to join our ship in claiming new territories and winning (hopefully) endless battles every day. Interested? Then here some pieces of information our captain just reveal.
Being a Communication Strategy pirate intern, you will be asked NOT to be weird as Jack Sparrow, instead, we need your participation in crafting the sharpest and smartest strategy for winning not only clients but also different groups of consumers. Your must-have weapon should include research and analytical eyes (for a quick but on-point conclusion), human understanding (for unique insight we haven't heard about), and a crazy mind (for disruptive ideation). If those above miss some parts, don't worry we can work out together.
Specifically, your day-to-day responsibilities shall include:
o Research in the sea of information: Extract key observations from syndicated and client research; design powerful primary research where necessary; mine the marketplace, the competition, and the consumer world (whether sporting a virtual helmet with a lamp on the front or intercepting and interviewing shoppers) for insights that can inspire the creative team and lead to innovative, exciting, marketing solution,
o Trendspotter: Monitor, interpret and generate knowledge about trends, content, knowledge, and opportunities relevant to key clients' business
o Creative briefing & strategy crafting: Support internal and account teams with crafting creative briefs as well as crafting a disruptive strategy for winning endless battles.
o Ideation: Prepare, participate & contribute to ideation sessions & workshops.
o Content mastering: Assist your manager in the communication content strategy development for existing clients and pitches for new business.
Requirements
Working Full-time
Creativity, teamwork, and strategic integrated thinking & content sensitivity are key skills for this role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial, as is deep knowledge of and passion for culture and the communication, media, and marketing agency world.
