A foreign leading bank in Vietnam is looking for Compliance AM/AVP working in Hanoi with attractive salary

COMPLIANCE AM/ AVP

Location: Ba Dinh, Ha Noi

Job description:

Assisting HOD and Senior Legal in term of legal and compliance related matters, including but not limited to:

Conducting the compliance activities in order to ensure the Bank complies with Head Office Rules, local laws and regulations;
Preparing Compliance Reports, Compliance Risk Assessment, Compliance Action Plan and conducting compliance self-reviews;
Preparing/Reviewing Compliance training materials and conduct compliance trainings to Hanoi branch staff when required;
Preparing/Reviewing the Procedures Manuals in charge by LCD and other departments upon requested;
Clarify and advise on new products, businesses and related processes/procedures to make sure that it is complying with Head Office compliance rules, local laws and regulations;
Following up with other relevant departments of the Bank on the implementation of local requirements and other compliance activities to ensure a sound compliance of the whole bank;
Dealing with matters stipulated by local regulators, issues detected or raised by internal and external auditors;
Providing legal advices to other departments and Management in relation to banking business and operation;
Drafting, reviewing, translating legal documents form English into Vietnamese and vice versa;
Legal briefing & reporting;
Legal research;
Conducting trainings to staff in term of legal & compliance matters;
Communicating with and reporting to Head Office and/or local authorities where necessary;
Controlling the in/out legal documents;
Ensuring the Bank operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations;
Lodging application/dossiers with the State Bank of Vietnam and/or other relevant State agencies;
Handling of disputes and/or litigations;
Other legal and/or compliance jobs as requested by HOD, Senior Legal and Management from time to time.

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in law;
At least 5 year legal/compliance working experience, preferred in foreign banks in Vietnam.
Fluent in both English and Vietnamese with good communication skill for interaction with internal counter parties.
Experience in drafting/reviewing commercial and banking contracts;
Compliance sense;
Good analytical and research skills
Accountable, trustworthy and attention to details.
Ability to work under high pressure.
