Compliance Manager

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
· This position oversees and manages the Supplier Compliance Management function, supporting all Product Suppliers under HOT-APO, across the Product Categories of a Business Unit
o Product categories : Health & Home products, Housewares products or Beauty products
o Supplier base : China, Vietnam, Taiwan and other Asia Pacific countries
· In supporting the Supplier compliance management strategy, to define and implement the detailed work processes, audit and monitor supplier performance and drive for continuous improvement
· Liaison with Customer audit teams and 3rd party audit agents
· In-charge and manage the operations of APO Supplier Compliance Management Team, with operational responsibility covers,
o New Supplier qualification audit (Quality Management System, Restricted Substance Management System, Code of Conduct, Security, & Sustainability) and annual assessment on qualified suppliers
o Customer compliance qualification audit ; Fulfil licensing / customers requirement on quality and compliance audit (e.g. Honeywell, Walmart, Walgreens, Costco, Columbia, Starbuck, . . .)
o Define and coordinate audit schedule with internal and external peers
o Pre-audit preparation and post-audit corrective actions with supplier
o Update and maintain the system integrity of Oracle Quality Module for Global Supplier Qualification
o Preparation for regular GSRB Meeting (Global Supplier Review Meeting)
o Liaison with customer audit teams
o ISO13485 Medical Certification for APO and supplier operation (if applicable)
o Tracking on the changes of national & customer compliance requirement
o Contract review on Compliance agents
o Department financial planning and control
o Provide professional consultancy service within HOT and with suppliers on social compliance issues
o Alert management on adverse compliance situation on supplier and trigger remedy actions
· This position requires aggressive and collaborative work alongside with APO team, BU team, suppliers and customer audit teams
This position requires considerable travel and on-site participation at supplier locations.
