Position: Compliance Senior Manager / Director - SHOPLINE Singapore

What you'll be doing:

Designing, developing, delivering and maintaining best-in-class Compliance, programs, policies and practices.
Serving as a subject matter expert on SHOPLINE's Compliance programs, provides expert guidance on function/business/product regulations on a real-time basis to manage compliance risk.
Overseeing the monitoring and identification of regulatory developments, including enforcement actions, and new laws, regulations, rules, and interpretations or guidance relating to the supported function/business/product.
Ensure effective communication with regulatory authorities, partners and other departments on compliance related issues
Providing guidance to senior management to ensure that ML/TF risks are adequately identified, understood and managed
Act as the focal point for the oversight of all activities relating to the prevention and detection of ML/TF, identification and reporting of suspicious transaction
Act as the main point of contact with the Joint Financial Intelligence Unit and law enforcement agencies and Suspicious Transaction Report Officer
Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance of MSO and MPI license (including reporting, handling regulatory inquiries and license renewal)
Design and oversee the AML/CFT framework and take initiative in updating the A ML/CFT policies and procedures
Take appropriate follow-up actions for suspicious transaction based on reports for AML/CFT purposes
Provide guidance on how to avoid "tipping off"

Who we are looking for:

Minimum 8 years' experience in compliance/AML, as an expertise of Compliance laws, rules, regulations, risks and typologies;
Degree holder in Business, Accounting, Finance, Law or related disciplines
Experience in application and post-licensing compliance of MPI license or in MPI licensees would be an advantage
Experience in regulatory engagement with SG local authorities
The experience and knowledge of MSO (HONG KONG) license preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with regional partners in other functional units; ability to navigate a complex organization; to influence and lead people across cultures at a senior level
Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners, auditors, etc.
Awareness of regulatory requirements including local law, international and industry standard
Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
Service-oriented, able to provide solutions for business as well as meet certain standards
Take initiative and proactively in analyzing and foreseeing potential risks
Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin
Self-disciplined with high professional standards
Related certifications desirable, ACAMS is a must
