WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the construction of GS25 stores from start to finish, ensuring the given timeframe, budget and the required quality standards; supervising and managing construction team members and contractors' ensuring safety and regulatory compliance and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee and manage construction of GS25 stores from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Develop and ensure the construction schedules, budgets, and plans, and monitor progress against these targets.
Hire and manage construction teams, including designers, site supervisor, facilities and other professionals as required.
Coordinate and supervise contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other regulatory requirements.
Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records of project activities.
Review the stores design documents, plans, and specifications before submitted to Head of I&C for basic store concept.
Communicate and report store construction status and progress to related internal/external stakeholders, and address any concerns or issues as they arise.
Conduct site visits at the beginning and randomly to ensure quality control and resolve any issues that arise during construction.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders/partners.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Line Manager and BOM.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Bachelor's degree in Construction /Engineering, or related field.
5 years + of experience in construction management, retail store chain experience is a plus.
Strong construction management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and other regulatory requirements.
Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans, and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant software applications.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple store construction simultaneously.
Willingness to travel to construction sites as required.
