Controls Engineer (M/ F) - PLC

1. Troubleshooting (Core Responsibility)
• Troubleshoot Siemens S7-1500 PLC systems (TIA Portal)
• Analyze faults related to:
• I/O, sensors, actuators
• Profinet communication
• Safety systems (F-CPU if applicable)
• Read and debug PLC programs efficiently
2. Programming & Modification
• Develop and modify PLC programs using:
• LAD / FBD / SCL
• Design and modify HMI interfaces:
• WinCC / WinCC Unified
• Perform backup, restore, and version control management
3. Network & Communication (Mandatory)
• Configure and troubleshoot:
• Profinet
• Industrial Ethernet
• Work with:
• Remote I/O systems (e.g., ET200)
• Servo drives / inverters via Profinet
4. Hardware Understanding
• Read and interpret:
• Electrical drawings
• System layouts
• Solid understanding of:
• PLC hardware (CPU, I/O modules)
• Relays, safety systems
• Servo drives, tightening systems (preferred)
5. Experience with German Industrial Equipment
• Hands-on experience with equipment from: Siemens; Bosch Rexroth; SEW / Sick / Festo
• Ability to work with vendors and technical documentation in English
