• Perform and evaluate EMC tests such as EMI and EMS on Lighting products, electrical & electronic household appliances, Audio / Video equipment, Battery operated appliance, IT products, Power tools according to client protocol and/or exported Market Regulations in accordance with standards.
• Develop, set up, and follow established test plans according to client protocols. Conduct thorough construction checks of device design aspects against standard compliance criteria. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during testing
• Prepare test reports aligned to global test report format and/or customized Buyer/Retailer requirements. Compile test results, analyze data, and product description information into report templates and shells. Submit a report to the reviewer for final approval.
• Set up and operate standard test equipment including, but not limited to: EMI receiver, antenna, LISN, ISN, Harmonic & Flicker system, EFT/ Surger/ Dips, ESD etc.
• Coordinate with other engineers in SGS Vietnam and SGS Affiliates to ensure smooth execution of test projects, ensure to delivery testing report/certificate timely and effectively.
• Establish & maintain technical knowledge database.
• Study new testing capabilities, participate in lab development project from
purchasing step to install the new equipment/facilities
Electrical / Electronic Engineering or its equivalent.
2-3 years relevant experience preferred (professional lab experience is a plus)
Good in English & Ms office
ISO/IEC 17025 and 107 Decree knowledge will be a plus
