Job description
1. Costing support
· Prepare monthly product costing calculations and supporting schedules.
· Collect and validate material, labor and overhead data; investigate basic variances and escalate significant issues.
· Prepare costing, inventory valuation and gross margin reports for review.
· Maintain costing records and supporting documentation.
2. Inventory accounting
· Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between the ERP, inventory records and general ledger.
· Review inventory movements and follow up on discrepancies with Warehouse and Production.
· Support physical stock counts and cycle counts; document and track variances.
· Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory and prepare schedules for review.
· Prepare supporting documents for inventory adjustments and write-offs.
3. ERP - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
· Check the accuracy and completeness of inventory and costing transactions in BC.
· Assist with validating BOMs, routings, production orders and related master data.
· Support user testing, data checks and routine issue resolution; escalate complex issues to the Senior/
Finance Manager or IT.
· Maintain accurate records and follow agreed system procedures.
4. Month-end Closing and Reporting
· Prepare reconciliations, schedules and supporting documents for month-end closing.
· Assist with routine costing and inventory journal entries, subject to review and approval.
· Prepare periodic manufacturing cost and inventory reports and perform preliminary data analysis.
· Support budgeting, forecasting and audit requests by providing accurate data and documentation.
5. Coordination and Internal Control
· Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Planning, Procurement and other relevant teams to verify data.
· Follow accounting policies, internal controls and established procedures.
· Identify recurring data or process issues and recommend them to the Senior for follow-up.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
· Typically 3-5 years of accounting or costing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Basic understanding of inventory accounting, product costing and manufacturing processes.
· Experience with an ERP system; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage.
· Good Excel skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
· Good command of English.
Preferred Experience
· Exposure to BOMs, routings, production orders and stock counts.
· Experience preparing inventory reconciliations and month-end schedules.
Benefits:
· Salary Budget: 25 - 30 mil VND
· Probation period: 100% of the official salary.
· Social insurance: Contributions start from the probation period and are based on 90% of the total salary.
Working time: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 17:30.
