• Provide transparent, consistent and competitive product cost/cost analysis, supporting sourcing, product and marketing team to reach the business margin target.
• Be responsible for footwear product costing for specific ranges under Amer sports group. Capable to validate material price, pattern usage, process cost, bottom unit price, component price and drive cost conversation with factory partners to provide timely, fact-based, accurate CBDs (Cost Breakdown sheet) at key development stages and buy stages.
• Daily follow up including tooling investment tracking/settlement, cost/price analysis/benchmark for continuous improvement.
• Lead the costing review at each key development stage. Work closely with Amer Development and Factory costing teams identifying and capitalizing on cost savings, ensuring price/value optimization.
• Collaborate with Development, Materials and Quality team within Headquarter, Footwear Sourcing Center as the hub of costing information.
Responsible Sourcing/
Purchasing (RPP):
o by working closely with the Amer Sports Global Sourcing Vendor Sustainability team on quarterly business reviews and responsible purchasing training/capacity building (at least annually)
o by adhering to negotiated lead times and balanced annual capacities to expedite responsible purchasing practices as outlined in the Responsible Sourcing Policy
