Creative Director (Vietnamese & Expat)

This position is responsible for inspiring creativity and leading projects from concept to completion, oversee the activities of creative team to maintain standards of creative excellence, timeliness and profitability in order to meet client's satisfaction



* Job description:

A. Planning Activities

1. Plan for team business strategy

• Develop the strategy of the Creative Team according to the company business strategy

• Plan and control operating budget of creative Team

2. Set & manage team objectives

• Set goals and targets for Creative Team

• Cascade goals and targets from Department level to each Creative team member

• Periodically monitor and evaluate goals and targets of each team member

B. Main Activities

• Approach customers: Consult Account team about ideas; More feeling with request & brand/client to have good & suitable ideas, design ...

• Analyze & Propose solutions to customers/ campaign/ project: Capture, advise, propose creative concept/ ideas, direction & design solutions suitable with client's strategy/plan/ campaign

• Prepare for project implementation and on-going project

 Spearhead and manage content strategy for both small-scale and large-scale projects, harnessing strategy, digital and brand design, compelling content, and technology

 Collaborate with client and Account team in developing marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities

 Create concept/big ideas from the relevant insights for both the existing client campaigns and pitches that meet the strategic & business goals

 Produce sketches, storyboards, roughs to visualize ideas that tell a story about each communication as well as align with the concept/big idea

 Always follow up, monitor the quality, progress, resources for short- and long-term needs to advise and make timely adjustments

 Supervise a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers/ videographers, and project managers in the strategic development of messages and deliverables

 Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner

 Review and approve art and copy developed by the team, ensuring deliverables that effectively address marketing goals and challenges

 Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for visually sophisticated audiences

 Present, or oversee presentation of final concepts, and obtain approvals for deliverables

 Establish and maintain relationships with partners, related service providers for marketing activities

• Control quality and efficient of project

 Check and ensure that the product is manufactured following to the design, achieving operational efficiency

 Make project's report according to the company/ client's requirements

• Customer services

 Support Account team on developing customer relationship and improve service quantity

 Keep an eye on the relationships and share contacts or referrals if seeing any leads to Accounting team

• Manage documents: Manage projects' documents

C. Process & People development

• Organizational development & staff management: Participate in all organizational and staff development activities: Organizational structure, create and update JD, recruitment, training and development, employee evaluation, etc.

• Technology/ knowledge management:

 Collaborate with related dept. heads to gain in-depth knowledge of clients' requirements

 Update latest software/ techniques/ new post formats, designs, new approaches to advertising to be used in the business

• Process Development: Create, develop, update procedures, guidelines, and forms for implementing works within the team as well as with other teams
