About the role
We're hiring a Senior Data Analyst to lead our business intelligence work and help us push into AI-powered analytics. You'll sit between the data and the people who use it, building operational reports and models, and working closely with business teams to answer the questions that matter to them.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, and help business users get answers without always coming back to the analytics team.
Build and tune data models and pipelines across SAP Datasphere and our AWS stack (Glue, Athena, Redshift).
Work directly with business units to understand what they need, agree on the right metrics, and turn that into something useful.
Use advanced analytics and AI/ML where it earns its place: forecasting, segmentation, anomaly detection, predictive models.
Keep data quality and definitions consistent across reports so people trust the numbers.
Tune queries and keep cloud processing costs sensible.
Mentor junior analysts and raise the bar on how the team works.
Partner with the data engineering and AI teams to get models into production and into day-to-day workflows.
Requirements
Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, engineering, or similar.
3-5 years experiences in related field.
Experience leveraging MCP/AI (Model Context Protocol) and AI Agents
Strong Power BI skills: DAX, Power Query, data modelling, dashboard design.
Hands-on with SAP Datasphere (or SAP BW/HANA) for enterprise data modelling.
Good working knowledge of AWS data tools (Glue, Athena, Redshift) and ELT pipeline design.
Strong SQL and solid Python for analysis and automation.
A good grasp of data warehousing, dimensional modelling, and ELT/ETL.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience applying AI/ML or generative AI to real analytics problems.
Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and security.
Cloud cost optimisation and performance tuning experience.
Certifications like Microsoft PL-300, AWS Data Analytics, or SAP.
Experience in a regulated or large enterprise setting.
