Data Engineer

We encourageour data engineers to be open to learn new technologyon a project-by-project basis. We are looking for Data Engineers who have asample of the following skills and experience:
At least 6 years of experience in total at Data Engineer or at a similar role
Experience ofdesigning,buildingand maintainingdataproductsthatmeet the needs of data consumers.
An understanding ofcommon approaches todata analysis, machine learning and data visualisation so you canproduce the right datafor data consumers.
Experiencewith a variety of approaches to dataarchitectures(e.g.Data Lake, Data Mesh,Data Warehouse,streaming, batch processing)
Hands-on experience with databasesboth relationalandNoSQL.
Familiaritywith big data infrastructures and concepts for storing and processing large and/or heterogeneous data volumes.
Practicalknowledge of handling varied types ofstructured and unstructureddata (text, tabular, graph,time-series, geospatial, image, etc.).
Workingknowledgeofcontainerisation andpublic and private Cloud environments.
Knowledgeable about information securityand data governance.
Excellentand practicaldataprogramming skillswith experience indifferent programming languages likeJava or Python.
You have experiencedelivering projectstodeadlines, with an emphasis on quality, ideally inclient facing contexts.
You would have the opportunityto work witha variety of technologies and tools, including:
Programming Languages-Java, Python, SQL.
Cloud environments-AWS/GCP/Azure
Big Data Frameworks- Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
Databases- PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hive
Orchestration and Containerisation- Airflow, Docker
