Data Governance Specialist (Data Protection & Security)

1. PDPD implementation project PMO
- Successfully guide the project working team in task implementation and deliverable delivery
- Work together on the project planning, PDPD implementation needs, and collaboration with legal & compliance team, and Data Governance & DPO team in Head quarter.
- Assist the project team by cooperating and facilitating their task assignments
- Track, keep tabs on, and report the status and progress of the project.
- Report any support or approval requirements to the executive and manage the project risks and difficulties
- Achieve project success
2. Data protection champion (this position will continue to work after the PDPD project is complete)
- Serve as the primary point of contact with DPO (from HQ) regarding PDPD requirements and upcoming tasks for data protection governance
- Cooperate with Legal & Compliance team, for the PDPD & regulation requirements & consultation;
- Cooperate with the IT security & governance, R&F, and other teams for the data protection-related issues;
- Assist in identifying the task owner (responsible party) for the data protection tasks on the Vietnam side
- Work together with the task owner to carry out and complete the work
- Assist in the execution and completion of the task with the task owner.
- Be a QA person to check and ensure the PDPD compliance in accordance with the PDPD and the organization's data protection policies and processes.
- Collaborate with the HQ DPO for data protection policy, process, and standard requirements and consultation providing to the VN team.
- Support HQ DPO in its communications with the Vietnamese government over the PDPD law
