JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data Management Expert. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of the company's data. You will play a crucial role in designing and managing our databases, developing and implementing data management processes and optimising database performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Before we can extract insights from the data, we need strong data practices. Therefore, your current focus will be on standardizing, recording, monitoring and optimising our data infrastructures. Yet this is not the end of your scope. We plan to quickly expand our data team further in the next stage with more advanced analytics that can help foster our operations. You will be the first.
1. Data Management
- Design and manage the company's databases: Ensure the design of a robust and scalable database structure that meets the company's requirements. This includes designing data tables, establishing relationships between tables, and ensuring the consistency and efficiency of the database.
- Develop and implement data management processes: Identify and establish data collection, processing, and update processes within the company. Standardize and cleanse data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure data security and access control: Define and implement data security measures to protect sensitive information. Establish appropriate data access rights and permissions, monitor data usage, and enforce data security policies.
- Optimize database performance: Monitor and optimize the performance of the database system to meet speed and data volume requirements. Fine-tune queries and modify the database structure to ensure optimal performance.
- Analyze and report on data: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract valuable insights from the database. Generate reports and provide timely and accurate information to support business decision-making and strategy development.
- Provide support and training: Offer guidance and support to employees involved in data-related tasks. Assist in training employees on data handling tools and software.
2. Analytics
This comes after our data infrastructure has become solid. We currently are running our operations with multi-dimensional complex data signals that are unique and rare in the industry. We want to gradually automate this system with more advanced data platforms. You will have a crucial role in this process.
