Your role:
The Demand & Sales Analysis Manager creates and maintains forecast, pricing, business, and financial models, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, supply chain and other sources associated with customers and products. The Demand & Sales Analysis Manager is the integration point into the commercial organization and manufacturing to monitor the sales and supply performance including actual sales, production schedule, delivery, and stock on hand.
- Report directly to Head of Sales and Marketing.
Key accountabilities:
Demand Planning
- Develop demand forecasts (consensus forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results.
- Analyze forecast performance and maintain forecast KPIs including forecast accuracy and bias.
- Coordinate cross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptions.
- Interact with sales, marketing, and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
- Utilize a collaborative and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts.
- Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing production planning, priorities and inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
Business Analysis
- Lead Commercial Analyst to perform best performance in terms of customer pricing, contract, and market information by categories.
- Conduct internal & external data collection related to BU Strategic plans and initiatives.
- Work closely with S&M Mgr. to ensure that all business strategy analysis needs are addressed in a timely and accurate fashion
- Review financial performance information and prepare relevant analysis in coordination with key stakeholders
- Prepare comprehensive, accurate and up to date industry reports on periodical and ad-hoc basis
- Support the S&M Mgr. in the completion of market plans through either market or financial analysis as deemed necessary
- Track performance and KPIs and prepare appropriate reports for senior management team
- Ability to translate situational data into indicators supporting strategy development and execution
Other Responsibilities
- Maintain high awareness and strictly commit to employment and legislative responsibilities in relation to safety, Business Code of Conduct, discrimination, HR policies, quality, and the environment
- Strictly follow the identified process of works and approval authority
