Job Summary:
The Deputy General Manager is responsible for assisting the Board of Directors in managing and developing Oasis's full F&B business operations - including Café Carré, Carré Express, Central Kitchen, and Virtual Channels (GrabFood, ShopeeFood, Capichi, etc.)..." Café Carré, Carré Express, and future outlets or projects. This role acts as the operational lead under the BOD, ensuring smooth business performance, cost control, and compliance. Focus is approximately 70% strategy, finance, and expansion; 30% operational oversight.
The Deputy General Manager supervises and supports the Operations Manager/ Store Manager to ensure alignment and performance, monitors financial efficiency, and ensures that strategic plans are executed effectively across departments.
The Deputy General Manager (DGM) serves as a key executive representing and supporting the Board of Directors (BOD) in managing and developing Oasis's full F&B business operations - including Café Carré, Carré Express, the Central Kitchen, and future outlets or projects.
The DGM provides both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring efficient business performance, financial discipline, and sustainable growth across all units. This role acts as the operational head under the BOD, driving execution, coordination, and accountability among departments.
Reviews and recommends financial and operational decisions; final approvals remain with the BOD.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning & Business Growth
● Support the BOD in developing business strategies, expansion plans, and investment evaluations.
● Lead the annual business planning and budgeting process for all business units.
● Identify new growth opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
● Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights to inform business decisions.
2. Operations Oversight & Coordination
● Supervise and support the Operations Manager/Store Manager to ensure consistent
● performance across Café Carré, Carré Express, and the Central Kitchen.
● Monitor key business metrics and ensure smooth coordination between departments.
● Ensure operational excellence, cost control, and smooth coordination between departments.
● Monitor key business metrics (sales, productivity, customer satisfaction) and drive performance improvement.
● Lead process standardization and implementation of operational best practices.
3. Business Expansion & Development:
● Support development of new virtual brands or online delivery channels.
● Conduct on-going project management & toolkit "Ready to Open" for Store Chain in Oasis Brand.
● Supervise pre-opening setup: layout, equipment, vendor coordination, and cost tracking.
● Coordinate among design, kitchen, operations, and marketing teams for new openings.
● Conduct risk assessments (financial, operational, reputational) and establish mitigation plans.
4. Financial Management & Cost Control:
● Monitor sales and profitability across Stores & online delivery channels.
● Conduct Yearly Budget Planning with Allocation of all Expense Planning in the next year.
● P&L monthly explanation with P&L Dashboard Create for BOD to review & revise base on Yearly Budget Plan.
● Review investment settlements, reimbursement requests, and vendor quotations, providing recommendations for cost optimization before BOD approval.
● Ensure accurate reporting from POS and aggregator systems. Void/ Discount transactions tracking.
● Oversee implementation and optimization of digital systems (POS, ERP, CRM, online delivery platforms).
● Review monthly EBITDA, Inventory analyst with clearly defined the Lost in Shrinkage/ Variance Inventory with Explanation & Strictly Action for next month.
5. People & Team Leadership
● Supervise and coach department heads (Operations, Accounting, HR, and Kitchen).
● Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
● Improve the Employee Career Planning by creating the Competency Framework for all positions with Yearly Performance Review and clearly Rubric for Assessment.
● Quarterly Review & Revise Manpower & Headcount for all Store to have people's strategy.
● Work with HR to develop succession planning, leadership pipelines, and internal mobility programs.
6. Brand, Experience & Quality Control
● Ensure brand standards, product quality, and guest experience consistency across all outlets.
● Oversee customer feedback and coordinate improvement actions with Operations and
● Marketing.
7. Reporting & Performance Management:
● Build Reporting Dashboard for BOD to overview in realtime and reporting strategy & action.
● Analyze trends, prepare summaries, and highlight performance gaps or risks.
● Present operational insights, risk assessments, and recommendations for decision-making.
● Maintain transparent documentation of all approvals, reports, and communications.
8. Team Development & Systems:
● Oversee task planning, tracking, and prioritization for the Operations team.
● Ensure clear communication between departments (Ops, HR, Accounting, and BOD).
● Propose process improvements and workflow standardization.
● Promote a culture of accountability, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Yêu cầu

10. Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
11. Minimum 3 years of experience in F&B operations or business management, including financial oversight responsibilities.
12. Solid understanding of P&L, cost structures, and project budgeting.
13. Experience in managing café or restaurant operations preferred.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
15. Excellent coordination and communication abilities across teams.
16. Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
17. Fluent in English and Vietnamese.
Offer:
- Salary range: VND 42,000,000 - 45,000,000 (Gross) per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- Probation Period (100% Salary during probation): 2 months
- 12 Days Annual Leave
- Other benefits in accordance with Vietnam Labor Law.
Working location: 09B Phung Khac Khoan, Sai Gon Ward, HCMC
Working hours: 9:00-18:00, Monday-Friday.
