What will you do?
- Contribute to the development and implementation of CI/CD, site reliability, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
- Contribute and collaborate on DevOps projects.
- Automate the maintenance of highly scalable and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS and GCP.
- Act as an escalation point for engineers seeking assistance with infrastructure and automation issues.
- Ensure robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential production issues.
- Maintain and update live SaaS systems, adhering to 99.9% uptime SLAs.
- Collaborate with the broader engineering team to provide 24/7/365 support.
Your Skills and Experience
Your Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- At least one year of hands-on experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS, including resource provisioning and management.
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, such as security, scalability, and cost optimization.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with containers and container orchestration frameworks (e.g., Docker, EKS).
- Experience with configuration and management of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
- Good scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and configuration management.
- Experience with tracing, and GitOps principles is a plus.
- Nice to have: Startup experience
- Good communication in spoken and written English
