DevOps Engineer AWS, Cloud

What will you do?

• Contribute to the development and implementation of CI/CD, site reliability, and cloud infrastructure best practices.
• Contribute and collaborate on DevOps projects.
• Automate the maintenance of highly scalable and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS and GCP.
• Act as an escalation point for engineers seeking assistance with infrastructure and automation issues.
• Ensure robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively address potential production issues.
• Maintain and update live SaaS systems, adhering to 99.9% uptime SLAs.
• Collaborate with the broader engineering team to provide 24/7/365 support.

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
• At least one year of hands-on experience with major cloud providers, preferably AWS, including resource provisioning and management.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, such as security, scalability, and cost optimization.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with containers and container orchestration frameworks (e.g., Docker, EKS).
• Experience with configuration and management of logging and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK Stack).
• Good scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation and configuration management.
• Experience with tracing, and GitOps principles is a plus.
• Nice to have: Startup experience
• Good communication in spoken and written English
