The Job
- Design, build, deploy, and optimize AI systems for SaaS products powered by LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, etc.) across use cases such as sales chatbots, customer support, translation, report summarization, and API/UI interaction.
- Build and operate end-to-end AI pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases, and prompt execution; apply RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and integrate knowledge bases into LLM workflows.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Product Designers throughout the product lifecycle to shape, implement, and continuously improve AI-powered features.
- Research, evaluate, and stay up to date with emerging LLM technologies to expand AI capabilities across products.
- Design and implement multi-agent architectures to support complex AI workflows.
Your Skills and Experience
- Strong proficiency in Python; experience building APIs using FastAPI or Flask.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph.
- Experience working with LLMs (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models); capable of prompt design and cost optimization.
- Ability to build end-to-end AI pipelines, including embeddings, vector databases, prompt execution, and RAG.
- Experience delivering AI use cases such as chatbots, customer support automation, translation, and content summarization.
- Solid understanding of AI system design principles, including latency, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Experience with Docker and deploying AI services in production environments.
- Strong product-oriented mindset; able to collaborate effectively with Product Managers and Designers.
- Background in Backend Engineering (or transitioning from a Backend role) is a strong plus.
