DevOps Engineer Docker, K8s, Microservices, CI/CD

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate a DevOps Engineer for our team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Setting up and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure.
• Designing, deploying, and managing monolith, microservices-based, serverless-based applications on cloud platforms.
• Implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab CI, Bamboo, and Jenkins, and integrating them with appropriate testing, managing, and deployment tools.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Implementing and managing monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to ensure system observability.
• Integrating security best practices and tooling throughout the development lifecycle (DevSecOps) and ensuring compliance with security standards.
• Working with various database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL,...) to support application development and deployment.
• Collaborating with development, testing, and other teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
• Performing incident management and root cause analysis, troubleshooting complex technical issues in a production environment.
• Defining and improving DevOps processes, including development, testing, release, update, and support.
• Communicating effectively within the team, with other teams, and with customers to complete the assigned tasks.
• Completing tasks within expectations set by the team and managers.
• Willingness to work overtime or outside of office hours for deployments and urgent issues.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent majors/ experience
• Experience working with large scale systems, system migration, system optimization.

Experience & Expertise:

• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and operating highly available, large-scale systems, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
• Proven understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, [protected info], Java, Bash, etc.) for automation and tool development.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, including infrastructure provisioning, service deployment, and cloud-native solutions.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in infrastructure and application deployments.

DevOps Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation for automated and repeatable infrastructure management.
• Strong Linux knowledge, including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for building and deploying microservices-based applications.
• Proven ability to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and technologies, including VPC, NAT GW, VPC Peering, VPN, Private connection, subnet, and other cloud networking.

Communication & Collaboration: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge in SRE practices, implement SLAs, SLOs, SLIs, incident management, and response.
• Problem-solving, Adaptability, and Attention to detail.
• Willing to work OT to complete the tasks or work out of office hours for deployment.
