DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer at Amplifi & Impact, you will design, build, and automate cloud infrastructure to support agile teams while also covering key system administration tasks. You'll lead CI/CD pipeline implementation, manage source code repositories, and ensure high availability and security for cloud-based applications. Additionally, you'll oversee internal systems such as Google Workspace and Jira. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll provide production support, optimize infrastructure, and drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices. This role demands strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to innovation.

Responsibilities

• Working with agile teams to build, manage and automate cloud infrastructure across different projects.
• Lead and support our development squads to design, implement and maintain their CI/CD pipeline and environments
• Manage source code repositories
• Design, build, support and improve company wide DevOps methodologies and tools
• Provide technical support for production environments
• Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well occasional weekend maintenance.
• Manage and Support Internal Systems

• Excellent working knowledge and experience with AWS , Microsoft Azure, GCP.
• Strong linux and network administration skills
• Experience building cloud infrastructure for high availability and high traffic applications.
• Manage source code repositories using Github and Bitbucket
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, CircleCI, Jenkins AWS CodePipeline
• Manage and monitor AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP cloud resources
• Understanding of Infrastructure as code and experience with either Terraform or Cloud formation.
• Lead root-cause analysis and resolution for errors in production environments.
• Automation and scripting experience in at least 1 scripting language
• Web application server administration experience.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE, AKS)
• Understanding of cloud security principles and tools.
• Experience working in an agile team using Jira or similar agile tools

It's an advantage if you have experience with any of the following

• Accreditations with either AWS or GCP
• Experience with Microservice and Serverless architectures.
• Experience with monitoring tools like New Relic or Datadog
• Administering Atlassian Suite
• Administering GSuite Environments
• Systems automation and configuration management with chef, puppet, or ansible
• Azure experience
• Experience with CMS like Magento or Wordpress
