Digital Content Officer

The Digital Content Officer will be responsible for creating, editing, and publishing engaging digital content that drives website traffic, increases social media engagement, and supports the marketing and communication goals of UNIS Hanoi.
The position holder will be a valued member of the Marketing and Communications Team and work closely with other departments of the school, working across all divisions from Early Years to Grade 12.
The ideal candidate will be highly creative with experience in managing and creating digital content projects from concept to final delivery.
Responsibilities:
Create innovative, captivating and on brand digital content including but not limited to videos and photos to inspire and engage our community across all communication channels
Publish digital content onto all communication platforms used by the school
Curate, check and update digital assets regularly and, if needed, modify their accessibility and security settings.
Be the first point of contact for queries and/or requests pertaining to digital resources.
Make basic updates and edits to website content
Investigate, secure, and properly document permission clearance to publish data, graphics, videos, and other media.
Secure and properly document permissions for UNIS Hanoi digital content to be used by third party users.
Help develop and manage a system for storing, organising, sharing and archiving digital material and content
Document institutional guidelines for the media archive system, monitor and ensure their implementation and provide clear training and instruction for those using the archive (naming conventions, tagging etc).
Work closely with the Communications Officer to support production of the school Yearbook
Collaborate with and support various departments and school divisions in digital content creation
Assist in event live-streaming
Stay up to date with new trends, media tools development and research best-in-class examples, integrating new ideas and best practice into UNIS Hanoi's digital showcase
Track and report engagement metrics relating to the digital content.
The Digital Content Creator will sit within the Marketing and Communications Department and will also be a key cross divisional member, working with multiple stakeholders throughout the school.

To be successful this role requires a passionate, skilled person who not only understands the importance of storytelling through film and photography but is also able to demonstrate it through social media, the school's website and other digital channels .
