MPSD Vietnam is a build-to-print production site, manufacturing sub-assemblies & finished goods for aerospace applications. The site has currently over 800 team members and services Parker Aerospace business units in UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, & USA.

it Managers, Division & Business Unit Lean leaders, project leaders and technical or
business analysts on the planning, execution, and support of Digital Manufacturing solutions.
This role will also be the Business Unit Digital & IT Lead in Vietnam, leveraging knowledge in several technical or business disciplines to collaborate with peers in deploying highly secure and resilient information technology solutions. This position has a dotted reporting line to the Business Unit Manager, is a full member of the Site Leadership team, and partners with functional leads in Vietnam to help set departmental goals and technology targets.
Scope/Supervision and Interaction
Has 3-5 Direct Reports supporting 800+ team members, 600+ endpoints, on-premise server room, and increasing Digital Manufacturing site footprint. This role will also have additional leadership of Division HPT's, & Project Leaders.
Essential Functions
• Implements and maintains Digital Manufacturing systems and services across the Division.
• Leads the HPT which develops the roadmap and governs the deployment of Digital Manufacturing solutions in the Division.
• Identifies opportunities and recommends solutions/improvements to Digital Manufacturing systems. Maintains these systems and services to be efficient and effective.
• Creates standards for Manufacturing systems and services to provide flexibility and maintainability.
• Facilitates development of training materials and education to users of these systems.
• Provides information to be used to promote the understanding and benefit of technology systems.
• Responsible for IT planning, maintenance, policy & process compliance; training; customer interface; department & people management.
• Provide active support and consulting services to all functional areas regarding software selection, database and software application training; Leads engagement & communication with the site as part of the Site Leadership Team.
• Responsible for partnering with Business Unit leaders to assess opportunities, works with the Division and Corporate Enterprise Systems teams to source the appropriate technology from Parker's IT Portfolio and implement the technology to support the business; Typically includes financial, order-management, material management, inventory control, manufacturing, collaboration and people management systems. In coordination with the Enterprise Systems teams, evaluates, sources and implements complimentary technologies where appropriate.
• Prepares weekly, monthly & quarterly highlight reports, management reports and Team Improvement reports. Develops annual IT plans including financial, distribution, manufacturing, and applications, resource support and IT infrastructure.
• Oversees Business Unit adherence to Corporate IT standards, directions and goals.
• Reviews and maintains the compliance of systems to established standards in order to assure future flexibility and maintainability; Implements and maintains practices and policies for standard operation and performance of the division.
• Prepares Business Unit IT budget plan, forecast and subsequent implementation.
• Recruits, trains and Provide guidance to employees on personal development needs and opportunities.
• Identifies organizational issues and recommends modifications/improvements.
