We are seeking a dynamic M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) Manager to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in sourcing, negotiating, and successfully closing M&A transactions. This role requires exceptional strategic thinking, financial acumen, and the ability to forge strong client relationships to drive business growth through mergers and acquisitions.
1. M&A Project Management:
• Manage multiple M&A projects concurrently, ensuring timely execution and delivery of key milestones.
• Oversee the transaction lifecycle from initial engagement to deal closing, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
2. Financial Modeling and Valuation:
• Lead financial modeling and valuation exercises for current and potential clients, leveraging advanced analytical techniques and industry knowledge.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support decision-making and transaction structuring.
3. Marketing Materials Development:
• Draft marketing materials, including teasers, information memoranda, management presentations, and potential pitch decks, tailored to client requirements and market dynamics.
• Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of marketing materials, aligning with regulatory and compliance standards.
4. Due Diligence Coordination:
• Co-ordinate due diligence phases, serving as the main point of contact between clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
• Manage due diligence workstreams, including legal, financial, operational, and regulatory aspects, to facilitate smooth transaction execution.
5. Client Engagement:
• Actively participate in external meetings with clients, investors, and other stakeholders, representing the firm and articulating value propositions effectively.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and exceptional service.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients interested in M&A opportunities. Utilize a proactive approach to generate leads and convert them into active engagements.
• Source potential M&A opportunities through various channels including industry contacts, networking events, market research, and targeted outreach campaigns.
6. Team Leadership and Development:
• Supervise and coach senior/assistant team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their performance and capabilities.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting continuous learning and professional development.

• Deep understanding of M&A processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, and contract negotiation.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities aligned with organizational goals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging work environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Fluency in English, Chinese speaking is more preference
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A, or financial advisory, with a preference for experience in Big 4 firm.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others effectively.
• Deep understanding of M&A processes, including due diligence, deal structuring, and contract negotiation.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
