Mô tả công việc
1. Manage and oversee construction activities executed by the earthworks and civil construction contractors' during the construction of the project.
2. Montior the contractors productivity and efficiency and provide feedback to contractor of improvement areas.
3. Ensure that NPMC sanctioned Safety, Health Environmental quality standards are practiced throughout the entire duration of the NPMC project.
4. Ensure all activities under direct supervision are carried out in accordance with NPMC policies on ethics and integrity in business practices
5. Demonstrated ability to understand and direct engineering and contractor work forces to achieve schedule milestones and budget targets
6. Actively participate in skills training and other NPMC sponsored activities to progress in the desired career progression and to facilitate continued personal and organizational learning and development.
7. Ensure personal honesty, integrity and cooperation with other project participants in all activities
8. Contribute positively to a strong team culture within the different project areas and NPMC as a whole
9. Provide technical support and engineering guidance directly to construction supervision and subcontractors in planning and field activities in accordance with the project requirements.
10. QA/QC management of site construction (Earthworks and Civils).
NHIỆM VỤ PHỤ (OTHER DUTIES):
- Site construction contractor management.
- Participate in project schedule development, such as look ahead planning.
- Participate in safety investigation and management and environmental awareness.
- Participate in meetings with project team members, and subcontractors to advise them of the requirements that may affect project design, schedule and cost.

Yêu cầu
- Kinh nghiệm, Kỷ năng và Kiến thức (Experience, skill, knowledge)
• Enginering qualification (Bachelor degree) or equivalent and relevant Civil Engineer qualification.
• Extensive field experience in mining projects - both brownfield and greenfield projects.
• At least 5-10 years experiences in the mining industry, preferably in mineral process plant construction.
• Sequencing, scheduling and controlling, civil construction activities (earthworks, drainage, roads, dams, concrete structures)
• Strong ability and the personal commitment to ensure safe and effective work practices and adherence to required quality standards through out construction sites.
• Monitor progress against work schedule to ensure any issues that may impact on schedule, budget or other areas of the project are identified.
• Develop strong relationships with key customers and liaise on a day to day basis to plan work, keep them informed of progress, resolve any issues of concern and identify variations or additional work required.
• Establishment and supervision of a team of National Engineers, QA/QC inspectors and Surveyors to ensure construction standard.
• Ability to interpret designs and specifications and provide practical problem solving capabilities from site · Contract administration with respect to controlling scope variations, issuing of site instructions and collation, verification and approval of all end of month progress claims for the civil disciplines
• Ability to interpret engineering, procurement, construction, and contractor documents and reports with respect to design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Ability to use and prior experience with engineering system tools is required.

• In addition the incumbent should demonstrate the ability to: - be task-oriented; - be cooperative and team oriented; - be enthusiastic and self motivated; - be able to work with minimal supervision; - have excellent interpersonal skills; - maintain the highest commitment to honesty and integrity in all business activities.
