Job Description
- Setting up, operating installations and finishing testing programs following HAT/SAT protocols for electrical system onboard
- Checking, supporting and coordinating the activity of OEM suppliers during commissioning phase
- Reporting test data in HAT/SAT documents as well as for improvement points/standardisation.
- In pre-commissioning phase, doing pre checks for cable installations and completeness of connections to support efficient commissioning of systems
- Checking electrical drawings and signalling issues. Providing improvement proposals to the Engineering department.
- Participating at sea trials phase, during Damen Shipyard supply trips of ships to their client destination, solving issues and that may arise.
Requirement
- Education
Completed engineering course with related major (mechanical, naval architecture, electrical and automation, electronics, telecommunication, etc.)
Knowledge of Internet and computer technology, network systems is an advantage
Knowledge of Microsoft office package and AutoCAD
Proficient spoken and written English skills
