Electrical Design Engineer

• Responsible for development of various application power transformer -tender designs in coordination with the Market and Sales Strategy to meet the market needs.
• Responsible for development of transformer designs based on tender specifications
• Preparation of Data sheets, Cost sheets as per customer specification
• Influence specification at the tender and pre-tender stage, through conceptual discussions.
• Visiting customers for technical discussions
• Exploring & implementing new transformer accessories
• Participation in internal design concept reviews.
• Managing electrical calculation, order data verification and preparing design schedule.
• Preparing electrical design and related documents as per customer specification and technicality within the agreed timelines. Issuing designs for customer comments and resolving problems as per specifications required.
• Cooperating and coordinating with production and quality team to resolve issues and improving design quality.
• Maintaining timely update of methods and procedures of engineering.
• Ensuring timely creation and release of the BOM to meet manufacturing targets.
• Maintaining the product information and engineering methods and procedures up to date.
• Ensuring design support by providing drawing control, distribution and revision, paper work etc.
