Electrical Engineer

Pre-Construction work (*):
Assist in the development of Packaging and Procurement Strategies, Design Master Schedule, Design Brief and Scope of Services for various Design Consultancy Packages;
Evaluate and provide recommendations for MEPF, Fire life safety, kitchen, acoustic, green, AV-IR, Pool & Spa Consultants Prequalification. Participate in the Tender process including: preparing responses to technical queries, evaluating alternatives proposed by the tenderers, evaluating and scoring technical submissions;
Consultant selection and management;
Design control & Budget management
Authority submission and permission management;
Contractor bidding and selection;
Project Management work(**):
Consultant management, Design management, Contractor management, Master schedule management;
Assists in the organizing, planning and scheduling of the works staying within budget and to the quality specified. Protect and promote the interest of Turner and Client in all matters;
Assist the MEP Manager, Chief Supervisor and / or Project Manager / Director to prepare any Project reports;
Prepare work schedules and keep them updated.
Control and review Contractor's RFI, Submittal, method, shop drawing, QA/QC plan, VO, VE.
Participate in Value Engineering Workshops and liaise with the Contractor, Design Consultants, Cost Consultant and the Client to seek agreement on proposed design amendments.
Assist in QS work of monthly payments IPC.
Construction Management work (***):
QA/QC control, Package schedule control;
Site coordination, Site supervisor and Perform inspection;
Coordinate the works on site with the activities of inspection agencies as necessary.
Assist the Construction Manager in establishing and maintaining good safety and security practices for the entire project in accordance with project safety program.
Perform other duties as assigned.
