- Responsible for the electric design and electro-technical architectures for machines and control systems in the maritime or offshore environment. - Dimensioning of the electric systems, wiring and harness conception, evaluation, and selection of electrical components. - The technical documentation is to be prepared acc. the department procedures (e.g. in E-PLAN). - Develop cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible CoE which also need to be maintained for a serial production setup. - Work on design projects (cranes and lifesaving equipment) including designing, calculating, check, and implement electrical design drawings - Work with departments to optimize electrical design, localize products, support other departments in the production process, and find materials to proactively source goods. - Prepare bill of materials (BOM) for production. - Participate in improving product quality and increasing labor productivity - Ensure products manufactured and developed meet international standards and satisfy customer requirements
