Job Responsibilities
Develop and Implement Data Governance Frameworks: Design and execute data governance strategies and frameworks to ensure effective data management across the organization
Policy and Standards Development: Create and enforce data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Data Quality Management: Oversee data quality initiatives, including data cleansing, validation, and monitoring to maintain high standards of data accuracy and reliability
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business units and other stakeholders to understand data needs, promote data governance practices, and resolve data-related issues
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure data governance practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Identify and mitigate data-related risks
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance policies, practices, and tools
Continuous Improvement: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of data governance practices and make recommendations for improvements
