Embedded Engineer C++, C, Linux

JOB SUMMARY:

• Perform product design, bug verification, release testing, and beta support projects which may require research and analysis.
• May assist in performing on-site client work.
• Operate under supervision.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform somewhat complex software product design and programming activities.
• Perform design, implementation and maintenance of sub-systems or on lower level system issues.
• Prepare technical documentation of product sub-systems.
• Conduct sub-systems and system level testing to ensure the product meets specified requirements.
• Perform somewhat complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
• Research problems discovered during testing and develops solutions to the problems
• Proactively involve in communication/discussion to solve technical challenges
• Perform special projects or assignments as required.

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, software engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent
• Good communications (English, Vietnamese)
• Will be newly graduated but could have up to18 months to three years of technical experience in product design or product support
• Have experience in writing software for embedded applications as opposed to PC level applications
• General technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design and implementation
• Capability to use development tools such as oscilloscope, logic analyzers, compilers, debuggers, emulators
• Capable of writing software in C / C++ and assembler software as well as experience working on RTOS
• Experience with ARM, Cortex would be a plus.
• Experience working on embedded Linux would be a plus
• Interpersonal abilities, ability to work with a team, attention to details, creativity, proactivity, project management skills, capability to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment, problem solving attitude, open minded
