Function & Responsibility
• We are seeking an experienced ERP Administrator with strong Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 administration experience and working knowledge of Citrix Workspace. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 ERP environment, while also helping ensure reliable user access through Citrix Workspace.
• This role requires hands-on experience with AX 2009 administration, user security, batch jobs, system monitoring, troubleshooting, reporting support, integrations, and coordination with business users,
developers, infrastructure teams, and external vendors
Primary Responsibilities:
• Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 production, test, and development environments.
• Manage AX 2009 user accounts, roles, permissions, access groups, and security settings.
• Support user access to AX 2009 through Citrix Workspace and troubleshoot access, session, performance, and connectivity issues.
• Monitor AX 2009 application performance, batch jobs, workflows, alerts, and system availability.
• Troubleshoot ERP application issues and coordinate resolution with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams.
• Support AX 2009 integrations with third-party applications, databases, reporting tools, and other enterprise systems.
• Coordinate application deployments, configuration changes, environment refreshes, and maintenance activities.
• Assist with patching, hotfixes, backup coordination, disaster recovery activities, and system upgrades.
• Support data imports, exports, data validation, and issue investigation.
• Work with developers and functional consultants on code promotion, testing, and release management.
• Maintain ERP documentation, including system procedures, security access records, configuration changes, and support logs.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Provide end-user support and basic training for AX 2009 and Citrix Workspace access-related issues.
• Participate in ERP improvement initiatives, process optimization, and system stabilization projects.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering Microsoft Dynamics AX, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
• Experience supporting AX 2009 application administration, security, workflows, batch processing, and environment management.
• Working experience with Citrix Workspace for ERP application access and user support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including basic queries, troubleshooting, and database monitoring.
• Experience supporting ERP integrations, reporting tools, and external interfaces.
• Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, permissions, and application access management.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, and vendors.
• Experience working in a change-controlled IT environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting legacy ERP environments, especially Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009.
• Experience with Citrix Workspace, Citrix Receiver, Citrix Virtual Apps, or published application environments.
• Knowledge of finance, supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, inventory, sales, or warehouse processes.
• Experience with SSRS, SQL Server Reporting Services, Management Reporter, or other reporting tools.
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, patching, and infrastructure support processes.
• ITIL, Microsoft Dynamics, Citrix, or related technical certification is a plus.
