About TVENT
TVENT is a travel and events company specializing in MICE - Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Events, delivering tailored travel and event experiences for corporate and international clients.
We are looking for a proactive and business-minded Event Travel Consultant with strong English communication skills to join our growing MICE team.
Key Responsibilities
MICE
Business DevelopmentIdentify and develop new MICE clients, including corporates, organizations, agencies, travel companies and international partners.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and business partners.
Proactively generate new business through networking, LinkedIn, email, industry events, travel fairs and other B2B channels.
MICE Consulting & Proposal Development
Understand client briefs, objectives, requirements and budgets.
Develop and recommend MICE programs covering destinations, venues, accommodation, transportation, activities, entertainment, catering and related services.
Work closely with the Production team to create creative, practical and cost-effective MICE proposals.
Prepare professional proposals, itineraries, quotations and presentations in English when required.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth and consistent project delivery.
Supplier & Partner Management
Source, evaluate and develop a reliable network of MICE suppliers and partners.
Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure service quality, competitive solutions and reliable support during peak periods.
Event & On-site Support
Coordinate with the Production & Operations team to ensure a smooth handover once a project is confirmed.
Participate in site inspections, FAM trips and other pre-event activities when required.
Support the management and delivery of MICE programs in Vietnam, particularly for key groups.
Monitor service quality and coordinate solutions to any issues that arise.
Be available for on-site events and business trips when required.
Requirements
Bachelor's/College degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, Event Management or a related field.
Experience in MICE, Corporate Travel, Events, Travel Agency, DMC, Hospitality or B2B Sales is an advantage.
B2B sales, business development, client acquisition, proposal/quotation development or supplier management experience is highly preferred.
Strong spoken and written English, with confidence communicating with international clients and partners.
Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Strong sales mindset with the ability to develop business, handle objections and close deals.
Good planning, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Detail-oriented, responsible and able to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Proactive, adaptable and eager to grow in the MICE & Corporate Travel industry.
