Mô tả công việc
The accountant will be working within a small team of accountants and be directly responsible for managing their own allocated accounts. This involves undertaking bookkeeping tasks including processing bank transactions, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll and include the preparation of annual financial accounts and tax returns.
Ongoing training and support will be provided to provide accountants with experience manage their own accounts directly including to meet and speak with Australian clients on a regular basis.
Performances bonuses will be evaluated based on the accountants ability to perform independently to fully manage tasks and the client account.
Contract of Employment:
• 2-month probation
• 4-month initial contract
• Then rolling 12-month contracts
Fix Monthly Salary:
• Fixed Gross Monthly from 15 mi to 20 mil depending on experience
Allowances and Benefits
• Performance based bonuses
Working Hours
• To align with Australian Eastern Standard times, working hours in local time will be 8am to 5pm (with 1 hour lunch break), 5 days a week Monday to Friday. Equating to 40 work hours per week
Working Location
• The role will be based in an Officetel located in Binh Thanh District, TPHCM
Holidays and Paid Time Off
• 12 days paid time off and Government public holidays
Mandatory Skills/Experience
• Strong written and verbal English (equivalent of IELTS 6.0)
• Accounting Qualification and/or experience in bookkeeping roles such as payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Experience using online cloud-based accounting software such as Xero
Highly preferrable Skills/Experience
• Experience with any of the following (in order or priority):
o Xero (accounting and tax)
o Employment Hero (payroll software)
o Hubdoc (receipt capturing software)
o ClickUp (task allocation and management)
• Prior Australian accounting or tax experience will be of high advantage

Typical Duties
Processing transactions
• Reviewing and processing source documents to input data from such receipts and bills
• Reconciling bank transactions and attaching supporting documents
• Reconciling general ledgers and processing periodic journals
• Preparing periodic management accounts and reports
Accounts Receivables
• Generate invoices on behalf of clients
• Verify and accurately post all payments to the correct invoice/s
• Reconcile payments made by customers of clients
• Report on Aged Receivables and other ad hoc reporting where applicable
• Liaise with customers as required
Accounts Payables
• Review and check accuracy of invoices
• Input and code invoices (inc. checking for GST) from source into accounting system
• Send invoices for payment approval
• Send remittance and reconcile payments made by clients
• Report on Aged Payables and other ad hoc reporting where applicable
• Liaise with creditors as required
Payroll
• Oversees client payroll obligations
• Process periodic payroll pays for clients including data transfer and data input
• Undertaking reconciliations of wages and other obligations
Accounting & Tax
• Preparing Income Tax Returns for individuals
• Preparing Business Activity Statements for sole traders, companies and trusts
• Preparing financial statements for sole traders, companies and trust (inc. SMSF)
• Preparing income tax returns for sole traders, companies and trusts (inc. SMSF)
Other
• Working with the team on bookkeeping matters for clients
• Supporting and performing administrative duties when necessary
Relationships and reporting structure
All Accountant report to the Partner of the firm and is expected to coordinate, collaborate and have highly effective relationship with other Tax Store Brunswick staff including the Client Manager and Practice Manager who are based in Australia and Vietnam.
