1. Design Management
• Lead and manage the interior design process across all project stages, from concept development through construction completion.
• Prepare and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for interior design consultants and related services.
• Manage and coordinate external design consultants to ensure design quality, consistency, and alignment with project objectives.
2. Coordination & Communication
• Manage internal communications and approvals processes across development, design, procurement, and construction teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, design consultants, and contractors.
• Foster strong collaboration within a cross-functional team environment.
Design Review & Quality Control
• Coordinate and lead the review and approval of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Review and approve material samples, finishes, and mock-ups to ensure alignment with the design vision and quality standards.
• Ensure all design submissions meet company standards, project requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
3. Construction Phase Oversight
• Monitor on-site construction progress related to interior design works.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants to resolve design-related issues during construction.
• Ensure the final execution accurately reflects the approved design intent and maintains the required level of detail and quality.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related disciplines, preferably with a strong interior design background and experience in luxury residential development projects.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design, design management, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience delivering luxury residential development projects.
• Prior experience working with a major real estate
developer or large-scale development organization.
• A good eye for design and foundational background in interior design.
• Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage consultants and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team-oriented, cross-functional organization.
• Hospitality design experience is considered an advantage, particularly for lifestyle-driven residential developments.
