We are seeking a Field Application Engineer to deliver technical solutions for leading global manufacturers in electronics, e-mobility, semiconductors, and automation industries. You will provide specialty materials and automation solutions for their manufacturing challenges.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Pre-
Sales Technical Support
· Analyze customer applications and propose technical solutions (materials and automation equipment)
· Collaborate with technology partners to design optimal solutions
· Conduct in-house and on-site testing to validate solutions and win projects
· Provide technical expertise during customer presentations and negotiations
After-Sales Support
· Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for deployed solutions
· Optimize performance based on customer feedback
Product & Application Development
· Develop new applications for vertical market segments per strategic direction
· Test and qualify new materials and processes
· Build technical documentation and best practices
Customer Engagement
· Work directly with engineering teams at major international manufacturers
· Conduct technical training and serve as trusted advisor to key accounts
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
Education & Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation/Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical/Materials Engineering (in order of preference)
· 2-4 years in application engineering,
technical sales, or process engineering
· Fresh graduates with strong technical foundation are welcome
Technical Skills
· Understanding of specialty materials (adhesives, coatings, sealants, thermal materials)
· Basic knowledge of automation systems and dispensing equipment
· Ability to design systems and create technical drawings (CAD/technical sketches is a plus)
· Familiarity with electronics/semiconductor manufacturing processes is highly advantageous
· Strong problem-solving and hands-on laboratory testing capabilities
· Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
Professional Skills
· Excellent communication in Vietnamese and English (working with international clients)
· Customer-oriented with strong presentation abilities
· Project management skills for multiple engagements
· Willingness to travel frequently (40-60% travel time)
· Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
