Finance Manager - Leading Global Agriculture Company

As the Finance Manager, you'll lead all accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and tax compliance. Your role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, managing banking relationships, overseeing rebates and sales incentives, and working closely with channel partners to manage trading agreements. This position requires strong financial acumen and the ability to drive key business initiatives.
Description
Strategic Planning and Reporting:
* Responsible for preparing accurate monthly financial reports, including P&L statements and cash flow forecasts, to facilitate informed decision-making.
* Analyze business performance against targets, providing insights to optimize financial outcomes.
Financial Decision Support:
* Act as a financial business partner, providing continuous analytical support and strategic guidance to commercial teams, with a focus on enhancing decision-making processes.
* Lead the management of periodic financial judgments and estimates, including rebates and sales incentives, ensuring accurate financial forecasting and planning.
Process Optimization and Change Management:
* Identify and lead initiatives for process improvement within the finance function, driving reengineering efforts to enhance efficiency.
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of robust internal control frameworks, with the ability to identify and implement continuous improvements as the business grows and matures.
Relationship Management and Financial Administration:
* Oversee key banking relationships, ensuring effective cash management to support business operations.
* Maintain and coordinate relationships with banks, customers, and suppliers, ensuring financial stability and operational continuity.
Profile
* Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, including roles such as Finance Manager or equivalent.
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce, qualified CA or CPA.
* Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
* Commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management experience.
* Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
* Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Sage, etc.
