The Australian Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a self-motivated and well-organised candidate to fill a vacant Finance Officer position (Locally Engaged Staff - LE4). The exercise may be used to fill similar positions over the next 18 monthsfrom the date of advertisement.
Working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Corporate Enabling Section (CES) under limited direction the Finance Officer, reporting to the
Finance Manager, provides financial and accounts services, assurance and advice to Consulate staff. The role requires excellent working relationships with stakeholders and good judgement in applying government policy.
Applicants should have demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a productive finance team member. Highly developed communication and liaison skills in both written and spoken English and Vietnamese including about accounting financial processes and policies are required.
The successful candidate will be offered a fixed term non-ongoing contract for initial one (1) year with a potential for renewal or ongoing/permanent contract. The full-time monthly gross salary ranges from VND 32,766,907 to VND 36,879,443. Refer to Applicant Information Pack.
