Job Overview:
Develop the new packaging and improve existing packaging (make mock-up, conduct trials, issue technical drawing, write specifications, conduct transportation test, providing feedback to MKT/Sales/
Purchasing/Production/QAQC team and suppliers).
Design packaging artwork, label, photography and retouching etc.
Scope of work and responsibilities:
A. Packing Designer:
・ Develop new packaging materials according to the new product brief for local products.
・ Co-ordinate with other departments for packaging related issues such as new product development to ensure that the quality and timeline of packaging is suitable for the new products.
・ Collaborate with teams to ensure consistency of design and quality across various mediums.
・ Support QA and Production in solving Packaging material problems.
・ Others assigned.
B. Product Photographer
・ Conduct product shooting: prepare concept, context, and suitable props.
・ Participate in brainstorming meetings with departments to determine image KPIs (number of photos, style, deadline).
・ Post-production editing: use Photoshop, Lightroom, or specialized software for retouching: adjusting lighting, color correction, sharpening, removing excess details.
・ Manage and periodically maintain camera equipment, lenses, flash units, LED lights, and tripods.
・ Propose budget for purchasing and upgrading equipment when necessary.
