Position: Accounting Intern
Job description: Reporting to managing directors
Accounting/Finance
Support in setting up QuickBooks or Xero software
Dealing with book-keeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable working closely with our external accountant
Assisting in monthly closing and relevant financial reports
Assisting intercompany reconciliation
Assisting in handling the balance sheet and p&l
Prepare monthly forecasts and statistical reports
Assisting in the annual audit process
Purchase order / proforma invoice & shipment process
Prepare purchase orders and proforma invoices for customers and suppliers and follow the delivery status
Check the letter of credit sent by the customer and prepare relevant documents to transfer lc to factories
Follow up closely with merchandisers on the products development process
Purchasing, payment, and invoices follow up
In charge of ordering, processing payments, and ensuring invoices are well received from all suppliers for all needs at the office (furniture/samples/accessories/fabrics...)
General administrative duty
Support for various administrative duties and day-to-day running of the office
Job Requirements & skills:
Previous up to 3 years of experience in an international trading office is a plus
Familiar with trading export shipment processes (letter of credit, packing list, invoice, bill of loading, incoterms...)
Familiar with full accounting process, great calculating & forecasting skills, and high sensibility in numbers
Hard-working, team-work spirit, good communication, strong organizational skills
Outstanding execution ability with proven determination and perseverance in reaching goals. a never give up attitude
Self-motivated and able to meet tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
Fluency in both oral & written English
Computer literacy in ms office, excel, outlook, PowerPoint, QuickBooks or Xero
Certificate of accounting/finance professional
