Reporting line: Head of Products, Sr. Software Engineer
Your role & responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to understand website requirements and translate them into well-structured and efficient code.
Ensure the responsiveness and performance of websites.
Implement and maintain integrations with databases and third-party tools.
Troubleshoot and debug website issues to optimize performance.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our web presence.
Collaborate with designers to ensure a seamless user experience.
Other relevant tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Your skills & qualifications
Must have:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science.
Have a solid tech-stack and > 3 years of experience of HTML, CSS, ReactJS, TypeScript, Flow, MobX. We mainly use ReactJS for front end, and Python Django for back end.
Solid understanding of backend development concepts, including server-side languages and databases.
Proficient in code versioning tools, preferably Git.
An upper-intermediate level of English, especially in Writing and Reading.
Self-motivated, self-disciplined, and have good time management skills to well adapt to the remote environment.
Nice to have:
A "can do" attitude and a thirst to learn.
An interest in having an engagement with a global start-up remote team.
Be genuinely interested in technology and love to try new things.
