Want your code running on real devices in real supermarkets, handling real payments and real-time data, not a demo?
NewEra is building a smart retail ecosystem that is already live across major partner supermarket chains:
▪️ Retail Media Network: in-store ad screens with AI cameras that measure audience and attention
▪️ Vending Machines: fresh-food vending with cold-chain telemetry and inventory management
▪️ Smart Cooler AI: grab-and-go coolers powered by computer vision and auto-payment
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
Employment Type: Full-time
What you'll do
Backend (60%): build REST/gRPC APIs for admin apps, devices and partners (payment gateways, ERP, brands); build the AI-camera analytics pipeline for campaign reporting; own transaction correctness and payment reconciliation
Frontend (40%): build admin dashboards (ad CMS, device fleet monitoring, campaign reports, inventory ops) and on-device UIs
Shape architecture, API contracts and data models with the Tech Lead; work with the embedded team on device-server protocols
Must-haves
3+ years of full stack experience on production systems
[protected info] (NestJS) or Go; REST API design, OAuth2/JWT, rate limiting, idempotency
React/[protected info] + TypeScript; dashboards and data visualization
PostgreSQL and Redis
Kafka / RabbitMQ / MQTT; Git, Docker, CI/CD, testing
Systems thinking: you design for retries, flaky 4G connections and the consistency/availability trade-off
Big pluses
Payments/fintech · AdTech/RMN · Edge AI (RKNN/Jetson) · Android Kotlin/WebView signage · ERP integration
