Full-Time Front-End Web Developer

Our team consists of education and technology professionals who are passionate about online learning, and we are currently looking to expand our team in a number of critical areas.
Edgur is based in Atlanta, GA, in the United States, but we have remote positions, as well as in-person developer positions in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Developer with expertise in React, [protected info], and other front-end technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and highly functional user interfaces for our web applications. In the first phase, we are planning to create an MVP focused on a few key features in video-sharing, basic trimming**,** video recommendation, and user dashboards. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and back-end developers, to deliver seamless and intuitive user experiences. Your passion for web development and your commitment to staying current with emerging trends will be pivotal in driving the success of our projects.
This is a short-term contract position with the possibility of an extension.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to monitoring & scaling the architecture of the platform and the infrastructure.
- Build the client-side application of our video-sharing platform from the ground up.
- Write clean, secure, tested, and documented code.
- Write technical documentation, and contribute to determining internal processes.
- Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders and managers.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and designs into functional code.
- Develop and implement responsive and engaging user interfaces using React and [protected info].
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to front-end development, ensuring seamless user experience.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and manage priorities effectively.
