We are looking for a talented, highly motivated and proactive Web Developer (Full stack) to join our dynamic team in Hanoi, Vietnam. You'll do interesting and challenging work as part of cross-functional squads that work autonomously. We're looking for someone passionate about technology, agile, cloud and customer experience.

These will be your responsibilities:

• Design, develop & maintain applications and write well structured and formatted code complying with Xpon Platforms code standards.
• Rapidly solve problems and fix bugs
• Contribute to estimation and planning
• Create automated unit and integration tests
• Code reviews and refactoring
• Helping other team members solve technical problems
• Recommend ways to improve software reliability, efficiency and quality
• Supporting the CTO with technical solution design activities

These statements should describe you:

• Good problem-solving skills and experience working with algorithms, Object-oriented programming
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Able to read, write in English

Your Experience and Skills:

• Professional development experience with frontend technologies, including:
  • Highly proficient in HTML
  • Highly proficient in CSS (and CSS preprocessors eg: SASS, LESS)
  • Highly proficient in Javascript
  • Vanilla Javascript, ES5 and ES6
  • VueJS (or similar eg: ReactJS or Angular 2)
  • Experience with responsive frameworks (eg: Bootstrap or Foundation)
• Professional experience with backend development technologies:
  • Highly proficient in PHP
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Understanding of NodeJS and/or Python
  • Understanding external APIs / SDKs to interface with various external systems
  • REST APIs, JSON/XML
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, Postgres or MongoDB
• Experience with Jira or similar Agile tools

Additional Requirements

• Deep understanding of multi-tier web application development:
  • Backend systems (eg: PHP & Message Queues, Workers, etc)
  • Database systems (eg: MySQL, MongoDB, etc)
  • Caching & Front-end systems (eg: Redis, CDNs, etc)
• Deep understanding of APIs - both creating & consuming
• Deep understanding of data structures & data manipulation

It's an advantage if you have:

• Cloud computing AWS/Azure or Google Cloud
• Linux server and bash script
• Microservices and containerised applications using Docker/Docker-compose or Kubernetes.
• Other data storage technologies such as Redis or ElasticSearch.
• Development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Gulp, Grunt and NPM
• Knowledge in CI/CD, any of Github Actions/Jenkins/CircleCI or CodeShip.
