Game Design Lead (Based in HCM)

Product / Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

OBJECTIVES

Contribute effectively in new projects from ideation to production phase, to create new hit music games.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Actively explore the mobile game market as well as utilize player behavior data, feedback & suggest improvements to create new and unique music games.
Translate ideas, design concepts into high quality game execution.
Brainstorm & consolidate ideas from team members to propose design solutions.
Build and manage the game designer team, ensure their capabilities to match with the project need and the division direction.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 3 years of experience as a game designer at Senior/Lead level
Proven experience in game design, core loop and monetization design for multiple revenue models (ads, in-app purchases and hybrid)
Working experience in music games is a strong plus.

SKILLS

Deep knowledge of game design principles (player motivation, core loop, MDA frameworks, monetization models, economy balancing, etc.)
Strong game analysis skills: applicants must be able to intelligently deconstruct & discuss the strengths and weaknesses of games' design and experience.
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, able to work effectively in data-driven environment.
Ability to pitch concepts in a clear, detailed manner through strong written, visual & verbal skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
