GCP Cloud Data Engineer Up to 1 billion/year

We are urgently hiring 3 Senior/Lead GCP Cloud Data Engineer to join our banking project with our Australia-based bank client

• You will be responsible for building and running the data processing pipeline on Google Cloud Platform
• Work with Implementation teams from concept to operations to provide deep technical expertise for successfully deploying large scale data solutions in the enterprise and use modern data/analytics technologies on GCP
• Design pipelines and architectures for data processing
• Implement methods for DevOps automation of all parts of the built data pipelines to deploy from development to production
• Formulate business problems as technical data problems while ensuring that key business drivers are captured in collaboration with product management
• Extract, load, transform, clean and validate data
• Support and debug data pipelines

*** Must-have requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with Data Engineering
• At least 1-2 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (General Infrastructure and Services and particular data services such as Big Query, Data Flow, Airflow, etc.)
• Experience with both batch and streaming data pipeline
• Experience in building Data Warehouse and in Data Warehousing Modeling (Dimensional Modeling or Data Vault)
• Strong experience in Python programming language or Java programming language (second preferred)
• Experience in Unit Test for Python code
• Relative experience in databases like SQL and NoSQL
• A strong engineering mindset to automate tasks, to identify use cases and test cases and to improve the system, PR/incident resolution and deployments
• Willingness to learn new technologies of Data Engineering
• Good command of English verbal communication

*** Good-to-have requirements

• Relative experience in declarative CI/CD or DevOps
• Relative experience in Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) (For example: Terraform and Cloud Build)
• Automated testing (ideally Robot Framework)

• Salary: Very open to negotiate
• 18 paid leaves/year (12 annual leaves and 6 personal leaves)
