Position: General Manager, SHOPLINE MALAYSIA

About the Role:

We are looking for a self-motivated and results-driven General Manager (P&L owner) to develop and implement effective business and expansion strategies and programs in Indonesia and grow the market from 0 to 1.

What You'll Be Doing:

Oversee the company's business operations and commercial performance in Malaysia.
Analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine domestic initiatives progress toward committed OKRs. Propose, align, and deploy optimizations on these OKRs with all stakeholders involved.
Developing and implementing growth strategies to grow market share and drive revenue
Make strategic recommendations on opportunities to improve profitability, increase margins, and achieve sustainable competitive advantages.
Lead cross-functional teams organized to implement new go-to-market strategies and action plans from Business Development, Marketing, Key Account Management and Customer Support
Collaborating with teams in other regions to achieve KPIs.
Collaborate with leadership to attract, retain, and motivate hardworking individuals.
Day-to-day management of a growing team
Creating and managing budget from headquarters.
Leading a growing team in the strategic development, integration and execution of the business plan to achieve organizational goals.
Analyzes results against forecasts and presents to senior management

Who We Are Looking For:

Over 10 years of experience in internet industry, preferably E-Commerce, Social Commerce, ERP Software, Saas, B2B, B2B2C
Must be fluent in English and Chinese/Mandarin
Familiar with Malaysia local market trends and possesses fruitful leads to merchants or business opportunities
Experience in social commerce or digital advertising would be a plus
At least 5 years of experience in division management (Sales and Marketing especially)
Experience of building a business team from 0 to 1 highly preferred
Experience working with cross-functional and international teams
University educated in business or related disciplines
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross teams and teams in different regions
