Job Description
About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The General Manager will play a key role in strategic planning, team leadership, and maintaining a positive organizational culture. However, depending on the business situation, GM might need to focus on sales management and events management roles in the company. CEO will focus on the other areas and oversee the GM.
Responsibilities
Operational Excellence:
Oversee and manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.
Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement business strategies.
Contribute to the development of long-term organizational goals and objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and challenges.
Financial Management:
Work closely with the finance team to develop and manage budgets.
Monitor financial performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
Drive initiatives to maximize revenue and profitability.
Team Leadership and Development:
Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team.
Foster a positive work environment and promote a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve individual and collective goals.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality products/services and addressing customer concerns.
Implement customer-focused initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback.
Quality Control:
Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet or exceed industry standards.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes.
Take corrective actions as needed to address quality issues.
Location & commitments
Permanent full-time role based at our Vietnam office Monday - Saturday (48 hours per week) with regular onsite client visits;
Overtime may be required to ensure client projects are delivered on time
Weekend work is rare but can occasionally be necessary
Requirement
Candidate requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven experience in a leadership role, with a focus on operations and team management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions that drive business success.
Industry knowledge and experience are advantageous.
