Mô tả công việc

- Undertake the geotechnical analysis and design using in-house spreadsheet or geotechnical software
- Prepare the soil interpretative report based on the soil factual data
- Prepare the specifications for geotechnical survey, in-situ, laboratory testing or geotechnical works
- Prepare the basis of design for geotechnical design works
- Supervise geotechnical surveys / works when required
- Check / Prepare calculations, designs, and drawings (AutoCAD, Civil3D) relative to geotechnical engineering
- Communicate with senior experts within the Company
- Be responsible for achieving the highest quality as well as schedule of the works
- Coordinate and support other activities of the Maritime Vietnam AG when required
- Other duties depend on reasonable requirements

Yêu cầu

** Preferable Requirements:
- Strong technical understanding of soil mechanics and geotechnical designs
- Practical experience of geotechnical investigation, laboratory testing, geotechnical interpretation, ground improvement
- Practical experience of geotechnical analysis and design
- Practical experience of geotechnical software, analytical-based or displacement-based
- Good understanding and practical experience with local and international design standards (Vietnam, BS, Eurocodes...)
- Script writing experience (VBA, Python) will be beneficial
- Strong knowledge/skills of the English language (written and verbal)
- Site management/ supervision skills
- Ability to perform well under time pressure
** Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in geotechnical engineering work, more than 5 years to 10 years is preferable
- Knowledge of geotechnical investigation, laboratory testing, basic geotechnical design works
- Knowledge of geotechnical analysis and design software
- Strong sense of responsibility
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team player nature
- Well knowledge/skills of the English language (written and verbal)
- Willing to travel as per project requirements
